Welcome to the Caparco Research Group!

We are broadly interested in using biotechnology (plants, enzymes, bacteria) to create new technologies for sustainable agriculture and environmental remediation. We were founded in August 2024 with Adam Caparco as our professor and principal investigator.

Our work is highly interdisciplinary, with a joint affiliation with the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology at Northeastern University. We are also members of the Institute for Plant-Human Interface.
